The Artmore Hotel is proud to announce its partnership with the Atlanta Roller Girls for the 2011 Atlanta Rollergirls Roller Derby! If you are unfamiliar, this sport is based on the traditional roller rink and the object of the game is to pass your team opponents. Over time, the girls of this sport have transformed the game into high contact, entertainment show!
” As founding members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association, the Atlanta Rollergirls are helping to promote and strengthen independent women’s sports. We are skater owned and operated and comprised of women who do this not for big contracts but because we love it. Each of our skaters brings their own skills not only to the track but also to the running of the league as a whole. We are our own accountants, promoters and marketers and strive to be “roll models” to young women and girls by demonstrating how successful women can be as both athletes and businesswomen.” – Atlanta Rollergirls
This highly entertaining sport starts this weekend, February 26th, at the Yaarab Shrine Center, located at 400 Ponce De Leon Ave, Midtown Atlanta. The Artmore Hotel is just a few blocks away and we are offering the teams discount rates as we are a preferred hotel. For additional information please call the Sales Department at 404-876-7100 or email sales@artmorehotel.com.

We had a great Valentine’s Day weekend at the Artmore. They were great with service, very personable. They felt like a small boutique with the service.. Not like a large chain.

Sitting proudly on West Peachtree in the middle of Atlanta’s Cultural Arts District is the Artmore Hotel. Formerly the Granada Suites Hotel, the Artmore is the reinvention of an historic architectural landmark building in the heart of Midtown. An independent boutique hotel, the Artmore prides itself on delivering a personalized guest experience, not previously seen in Atlanta. The scope of the renovation began with a restoration of the buildings facade, a 1924 building whose design is based on Spanish Mediterranean aesthetics. More Photos
